🚨 New Trade Features Launching in Pokémon TCG Pocket

On July 29, 2025, Pokémon TCG Pocket is rolling out a major update to the Trade system that’s set to transform how players collect and exchange cards. Whether you're a seasoned trader or just starting out, these changes will make your trading experience smoother, fairer, and more rewarding.

🆕 What's New in the Trade Update?

✅ Wishlist Functionality

You can now create a wishlist of cards you want! Other players will be able to see which cards you're actively looking for, making it easier to find ideal trade partners.

🔄 No More Trade Tokens

Say goodbye to Trade Tokens. You no longer need to spend cards or tokens to trade.

Instead, trades will now use a new in-game currency:

• Shinedust is now used to complete trades up to 1 star rarity cards.
• If you pull a card that’s already registered in your Cardex, you’ll automatically earn double Shinedust!

💎 Exchange Your Trade Tokens Before They're Gone

Even though Trade Tokens are being phased out, they’re still valuable. You’ll be able to exchange them in the shop for Shinedust and Pack Hourglasses.

🔁 Trade Token Exchange Details:

• 🕒 1 Trade Token → 1 Pack Hourglass (Max: 60 exchanges)
• ✨ 1 Trade Token → 10 Shinedust (Unlimited)
• ✨ 10 Trade Tokens → 100 Shinedust (Unlimited)
• ✨ 100 Trade Tokens → 1000 Shinedust (Unlimited)

👉 Be sure to trade in your tokens before they expire!

⏳ Trade Feature Downtime: Plan Ahead

Due to the upcoming update, the Trade feature will be temporarily unavailable during this maintenance period:

📅 July 25 (01:00) – July 30 (00:59) (UTC)

Make sure to wrap up any ongoing trades before the downtime begins.
